David J Byassee
David is a former partner/shareholder at a BIG LAW firm. He has been practicing law in California since 2006, managing teams of attorneys in private practice, and serving as the Managing Trial Attorney for Nationwide Insurance Company’s Trial Division in California. David is a leader of the defense Bar, has cultivated relationships with leaders of the plaintiff Bar, and is respected by members of the judiciary. As a seasoned attorney with a proven record of transferring and mitigating risk, David has successfully tried multi-million dollar claims to verdict and is a go-to attorney for rapid response on high exposure matters.

David’s roots include playing football as Scholar Athlete of The Year at Santa Ana College while obtaining an AA, serving on the Student Senate at Chapman University while obtaining a BA in Communications, and working as a graduate research fellow, author/editor for a newspaper, and judicial extern for Justice William W. Bedsworth at the California Court of Appeal while obtaining a JD at the nation’s first law school — The College of William & Mary, est. 1779.
